Been there and “got all the t-shirts”. Its fun , amazing, tranquil, peaceful, a bit of paradise, great for the soul… but you cant do it for more than a few months… and then the boredom sets in!! However it will put everything back into perpective.
You may not want to believe it that we are very much urban animals and need all the city stimuli……….and that includes all the hassles and problems that go with living in the big city.
Dont believe me ? Try it out for a while!

Rather live in the urban rat-race and spend your holidays in “paradise”. Next time off to Maldives or Seychelles. Dream on….NEILL

It really is a nice little story, it a great moral that I try and live by all the time.

Look for the simple solution, that may not be obvious, you may already be in paradise.

I try to remember it as much as possible, rather a poor man working in the waves, than a rich man behind bars of his own money.

I love that story! I’ve never heard it before, but it really was funny… because it was so true.

I could never live on a tropical island. I mean, it would be awesome for the first couple of weeks but, after some time, I would get bored and restless – if you are surrounded by beauty all the time, it becomes less beautiful and special. I would need a break from the tropical island so that I could always appreciate it.
